We are currently working on a very exciting project: The greening of Mill Junction in Newtown.

This building consisting of a silo complex with shipping containers on the roof as student accommodation is a sterling example of daring and dynamic thinking, as well as being a unique addition to the Johannesburg skyline.

The project entails the planting and greening of all 14 floors from ground level up to the roof garden, including balconies, stairwells and passages.

We will be updating the progress as it happens with photographs and news updates, so stay tuned to what, hopefully, will be the catalyst of the greening of the entire CBD.

A 5M X 5M Japanese 'Meditation' courtyard was recently completed as a show garden.

It broke from the indigenous and waterwise elements that we always try and include in our gardens, but the final result was one of authenticity and followed the 'laws' of a traditional Oriental garden.

Detail photos below show the process and some detail work that was put in including the dry river bed and the off-set stone pathway.
